As a superhero, I find Superman to be the most boring and uninteresting superhero in existence... nonetheless, I grew up with this archetypal character. In many ways, Superman is my favorite super hero, but only through childhood bias.
With the new "Superman Returns," I saw little glimpses of my childhood self that used to run around in a little red cape or towel... The thunderous applause at Superman's return in the movie was exactly how I felt. Digital Painting in Photoshop. |
