Prisoner of the Old Kingdom

For those of you who watch Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital, this is Jodelle Ferland (as Mary Jensen). A child who was killed when the mill that Kingdom Hospital is built upon, burned to the ground. She now haunts the hospital, helping who she can, guiding the lost souls, all while imprisoned in what she calls "The Old Kingdom."

I fell in love with this character. Jodelle does an excellent job of breaking my heart when she cries out. She portrays helplessness and eerie confidence at the same time with a hint of child-like insecurity which just makes her all the more ADORABLE. She's absolutely adorable, as well as a fantastic actress in a show created by one of my favorite authors. I figured she deserves fanart.

Ghastly to behold, but look still and you will see the innocence and troubles that don't belong on such an angel...
