Game of Thrones Playing Cardsby ~mafaka

A while back, Jim Tuckwell started a project where he illustrated a few playing cards as a fan tribute to Game of Thrones. Like everyone else, I was floored by his work and loved the idea. I wanted a deck for myself, but realizing he hasn't made much progress on the project, I decided to create my own. This is the fruit of that labor.

This is a full 54-card poker-sized deck of playing cards. Each of the royals and jokers are hand drawn and the Aces are the house sigils.

Yeah, I went back and forth on the words, but ultimately while scanning through the show for reference shots of Ned Stark, there's a scene where he tells Bran or Jon (can't remember which) "What are our words?" to which the other replies "The North Remembers..." Decided to go with that since "Winter Is Coming" only works at the end of the long summer. As for Lannisters, yeah, officially "Hear Me Roar", but the more commonly used/known "...always pays his debts" seemed to fit them better.

Good call on the Boratheon words... but I've already had these made.

These are awesome! The only thing i would change would be the words. The Stark and Lannister words have already been mentioned and if you were going with Stannis' gang for Hearts then "The Night is Dark and Full of Terrors" would make more sense

Shouldn't it be "Winter is coming!" instead of "The North Remembers" for the Starks?
